With a background in textile manufacturing and armed with a Diploma in Textile Technology, my journey seamlessly transitioned into the realm of Quilting when our children entered the picture. The evolution into Longarm Quilting was a natural progression, culminating in the vibrant tapestry that is Mount Vincent Quilts today.

My favourite thing to do at the moment is to shrink pantographs down to create heaps of texture. It looks and feels amazing!! Surprisingly, it doesn't make the quilt stiff... as long as I use the right wadding... a soft cotton or wool... It takes a

I'm loving the look of this tiny echo just outside the foundation piecing. It's much faster to quilt than ditching all those seams and has more impact visually.... I've been really enjoying custom quilting again lately. I was in a little funk for a while... read that as Winter and illness. That happens occasionally. Even doing a job I love sometimes I want to do something else. It gets boring or just too much, and I need a change.
