After many days of preparation, today was the first day of the Newcastle Craft Alive Show. This is my first SOLO stand at a show…. it’s very exciting! I had some great friends working my stand with me. Thanks to Rachael, Laura and Emma for putting up with my scatterbrain. I am a Bernina Longarm Dealer so I have 2 gorgeous machines on the stand. I also have a bunch of my quilts for sale. There’s a bit of fabric and heaps of laughter 😁 It was great meeting loads of quilty people and catching up with old friends.
We’ll be back to do it all again tomorrow
I see these gorgeous blocks on my Unicorn wall quilt every time I walk through to my studio…. they make me happy 😆
They are so much fun to make and great to use up lots of fabric bits ….
My friend Rachaeldaisy teaches this technique all over the place. If you get a chance to take one of her classes you’ll learn heaps….
I’m ready to go full speed into 2019…..!!!
There’s lots of fun things happening in the Mount Vincent Quilts studio this year. I’m taking my show on the road… to Newcastle. … to Craft Alive in March and Sydney Quilt Show in June. There’s so much more to tell but that will have to wait……
I’m looking forward to sharing more of my quilting process with you cause Sharing Is Caring 😆
Stay tuned as I attempt to be the most organised I’ve ever been. ..lol… 😂

After the craziness of the Sydney Stitches and Craft show, I spent all last week picking up and delivering beautiful Bernina Q20 quilting machines. ….
My truck was full to the brim…. not once but twice !!!!
There are some very happy people right now!
Now to clean up this mess …. !!!
I had the great pleasure to join forces with the lovely Michelle Marvig to create this gorgeous quilt “The Explorer “. Michelle perfectly pieced the quilt top and I got to do my thing and quilt it to death with custom quilting.
I had loads of fun. There is tons of ruler work with both straight and curved rulers. I only used two fill designs, swirls and back & forth straight lines.
It is such a bold, bright quilt I didn’t want to take away from the design so I used matching thread and used designs to enhance the quilt.
Here she is !!!! Hangin in all her glory @quiltnsw show at the Sydney Quilt & Craft show. Thank you to everyone who has kindly let me know how much they love her too….. 121, six inch eight pointed stars…. 50 hours of quilting and 3 seasons of Outlander on Netflix

I’m excited to be working at the Sydney Craft and Quilt Show at Darling Harbour this Wednesday to Sunday. I’m there as an Authorised Bernina Q Series Longarm Quilting Machine Dealer selling beautiful Bernina Q20 sit down quilting machines, the wonderful Q24 stand up machine on a frame and the super special fully computerised Q24 Q-matic. ….
If you’re interested in longarm quilting and you’re in Sydney over the next five days, a visit to see these gorgeous machines in action would be great for you …..
